There are several reasons why a transaction might fail. Here are some common causes:
1. Payment Method Issues:
- E-Check Payments: E-Check payments can take up to 7 days to process. During this time, the payment status will be marked as "delayed transaction." If the payment is canceled before it is completed, the status will change to "Failed."
- PayPal Fraud Alert: If PayPal detects any suspicious activity, it may trigger a fraud alert, which can delay the transaction for up to 7 days.
2. Processing Time:
- Most transactions are typically processed within 30 minutes. If a payment has not been completed after one hour from the time the transaction was initiated, Cloprod will consider it a payment failure, unless it is a known delayed transaction (such as an E-Check or a PayPal fraud alert).
3. Insufficient Funds:
- If there are insufficient funds in your account, the transaction will fail.
4. Incorrect Payment Information:
- Entering incorrect payment information, such as an incorrect card number or expiration date, can cause the transaction to fail.
5. Technical Issues:
- Sometimes, technical issues with the payment gateway or the bank can result in a failed transaction.
6. Bank or Payment Processor Restrictions:
- Your bank or payment processor may have restrictions or security measures that block the transaction.
